G1/1 Original Magazine Adapter (Part is obsolete)

This is the original G1 adapter. It was produced in two versions. One was .72 inches wide and was intended for use with the polymer stocks, specifically, the Tapco T6. The other was .66 inches wide and was made for the original wood stocks. Each of these were held in position by a tab on the front that locked under the original front locking point on the barrel and a 1/8" steel cross pin through the stock. You will not need to relieve the stock or remove material from the sides of the adapter. It is a drop in fit with minimal clearance on both sides.

We developed the G3/1 because a lot of potential customers refused to permanently modify their rifle or stock. They requested we come up with something they could use without making any VISIBLE changes to their stock. The G3/1 is just the ticket for doing that. We came up with a "tail piece" that holds the adapter tight in the front mag tab (trunnion) on the barrel. The only modification to the stock is a very slight removal of some wood or polymer where the locking piece contacts the stock on the INSIDE. You may need to relieve the mag well also if the magazine is binding. It will be shipped "matte black", anodized, aircraft aluminum, with the two Allen head screws and wrenches necessary to install/adjust it. WILL FIT ANY SKS type stock. It is .650 inches wide and is a "drop-in" fit for your stock. It does not use the cross pin. You can not use your cleaning rod in the stock with this adapter. Will will fix that on the next production run.

G5/1 Adapter

Originally designed specifically for the Shernic Gun Works (SGW) bulpup stock. HOWEVER, IT WILL WORK on ANY duckbill mag accepting SKS, using ANY stock combination. It uses a spring loaded "plunger" system, that compresses into the adapter body to allow for clearance of the magazine tab. It's design is to allow for straight up/in insertion and removal of the Tapco only 20 round mags. No rock -n- lock is necessary. Your previously modified mags will work with this adapter. The locking piece has an added feature that allows use of your cleaning rod to lock in the rifle just like the original.
